From here you have a pretty decent customization process, which can take as much or as little input as you would like it to. You start off with a base model of a car, which you can assign to one of the categories avaialable such as Drag, Drift, Speed, Race. The thing that I found interesting was the Blueprint system that they used in ProStreet. There is plenty of variation to keep the game interesting, and they get harder as the game goes. The difference race variations are: Grip Class, Grip, Time Attack, Sector Shootout, Drift, 1/4 Mile Drag, 1/2 Mile Drag, Wheelie Competition, Top Speed Run and Speed Challenge. There are different type of races in each race day, and you can only use specific cars for specific events. The game follows the career of a racer that you control as he climbs the ranks by competing in Race Days, and eventually challenging the Showdown King to become the best racer. Don't worry though, if you DO end up wrecking your car you will have the option to repair it using cash or a repair marker (which you will get over the course of playing through the game normally).
